Halaxy includes a growing set of AI‑powered features designed to support clinical documentation and record‑keeping. These features help eliminate the administrative effort involved in writing, reviewing and summarising clinical notes by using AI to transcribe sessions and generate summaries from clinical content and uploaded files.

When enabled, you can configure the settings of your AI features to manage preferences, defaults, and transcription data options.

Click Settings > General.

Under the AI Settings section, next to AI features, click the
pencil icon.

After enabling AI for your practice group, you can then configure your AI features.

AI Scribe: Manage preferences relating to the use of AI Scribe.

AI Scribe preferences: This setting allows you to enable or disable AI Scribe for your practice group. If you have a preferred AI transcription tool, you can enable it here by ticking the checkboxes. To disable all AI features, untick all checkboxes.

Default AI template: Select a default template for AI Scribe and summary features available in Halaxy.

Data management: Enable the ability to automatically delete AI Scribe transcriptions and set the number of days (between 1 and 90) after transcription for the deletion.

Assistants: Manage preferences relating to the use of internal- or external-facing AI assistants.

Practice Assistant: Enable an AI assistant for users in your practice group to answer how-to questions about using Halaxy. You can allow this assistant to also access your practice data and limit its usage to certain access levels.

Booking Agents: Enable chat and/or voice agents to handle appointment bookings.

To use Halaxy Telehealth or Halaxy AI Scribe, your browser must have access to your camera and/or microphone. Your browser will usually ask you whether you want to allow access when you start a session.
